A BOLD NEW PALETTE.
Each colour in our brand-new range of paintwork tells a story, turning heads through every corner. And the new MINI family is no exception. Our latest MINI models come with all the customisation options you’ve come to know and love, including our expanded range of paintwork with up to nine distinctive shades depending on the model you choose. So, no matter which MINI you go for, you’ll find loads of ways to add a splash of colour to your drive. From large to small, petrol to electric.
THE MINI COOPER.
The MINI John Cooper Works Electric in Sport trim delivers an electrifying combination of performance and style. Our iconic hatch comes in a range of dynamic paint finishes, and we’ve now released Legend Grey paintwork across the range for the first time since it was a John Cooper Works GP3 exclusive. Pairing options for your body colour include a contrasting red multitone roof and matching mirror caps to make a bold statement, while the red sport bonnet stripes add an extra layer of racing flair. For the cabin, Vescin/cord combination upholstery in JCW Black provides an elevated, high-performance vibe.
THE ALL-ELECTRIC MINI ACEMAN.
The MINI Aceman in Sport trim is the ultimate expression of flair and versatility. This mid-sized crossover comes in a range of attention-grabbing colours and your choice of black or two-tone alloy wheels, engineered for a modern, racetrack stance. And the cherry on top? You can set off the accents of your vehicle with sport bonnet stripes for a touch of attitude. Match this with Vescin/cord combination upholstery throughout the interior for a perfect balance of luxury and sportiness.
THE MINI COUNTRYMAN.
The MINI Countryman in Exclusive trim is the perfect canvas for blending commanding style and SUV functionality. You’ll get a choice of premium metallic and non-metallic paint finishes and wheel options, which you can choose to top off with a unique silver roof and matching mirror caps to set off your paintwork choice – exclusively available for this model and trim . Inside, Vescin Dark Petrol upholstery brings a modern and sophisticated feel in the cabin.
Of course if you’re a MINI purist, you’re probably thinking British Racing Green. It’s a classic for a reason and has been grabbing attention since its debut in 1902. That’s why it’s available on almost every new MINI model in production. Whatever colour you choose, you don’t have to stop at the paintwork. There are so many other ways to customise your new MINI.
WHERE THE MAGIC HAPPENS.
Plant Oxford is the home of MINI and where we craft and personalise most of today’s models. There’s a real community of people behind each one, caring for your new MINI as if it were their own. From assembly to the paint shop, each division uses their passion and skills to ensure every new MINI is as special as the last.
Did you know that during the painting process, each car is feather-dusted using female ostrich feathers? Shedding naturally once a year, we use these sustainable tools to remove any trace of dust right before the colour paint layer is applied, essential for that perfect finish. Awesome, right?
Something else we’re proud of at Plant Oxford is our Integrated Paint Process. It eliminates the primer coat and oven stage from production, meaning less energy and less emissions. The whole thing takes 10 hours, including corrosion protection and the application of a glossy Clearcoat layer. It’s amazing how much care and attention goes into making each colour perfect.
THE FINISHING TOUCHES.
After you’ve decided on your choice of paintwork, you’ve also got a selection of roof and mirror cap combinations to choose from. This includes our expressive multitone roof for a vibrant, gradient coloured finish on specific models. And once you’ve added those, there’s a host of wheel choices too. For example, do you go for 17” U-Spoke Vibrant Silver, 18” Slide Spoke 2-tone or 18” Night Flash Spoke 2-tone? There’s also the choice of Classic, Exclusive or Sport trim, with cutting-edge technology and performance option.
