A SUMMER OF BIG LOVE WITH JOE WICKS.
From behind the wheel of his MINI Countryman, Joe set off from Somerset and made his way up to Perth in Scotland, stopping at some seriously impressive venues along the way – including a royal residence, French-inspired château and legendary stadium. Talk about sweating in an amazing setting.
Infused with Joe’s famous energy, the workouts were accessible, adaptable and so much fun. That’s not to say they were easy though: in total, the partakers completed 101,916 burpees, 249,128 star jumps, 192,508 Spider-Man lunges, and 124,564 squats*. Phew!
Meeting everyone that came along and hearing their inspiring stories meant so much to me. It really emphasised the importance of moving your body, not just for keeping fit, but for the truly positive impact it can have on your mental health.
And judging by the number of smiling faces we saw in the crowd, all those burpees had the desired effect. Not to mention the incredible amount of money raised for BBC Children in Need!
