MINI ELECTRIC LIGHTS UP THE FESTIVE SEASON.
Let there be lights! A MINI Electric covered in 2,000 LED lights is touring the UK to spread festive cheer and raise vital funds for three great charities: MS Trust, Duchenne UK and Alzheimer’s Society. Nico Martin is the colourful character behind it all, and we’re stoked to be supporting him on his journey.
A BRIGHT IDEA.
It all started in 2019 when Bracknell-based Nico wrapped his own MINI in fairy lights to surprise an 11-year-old boy suffering from Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Seeing the joy it brought to all, Nico and his MINI returned in 2020 to deliver some mid-pandemic positivity directly to people’s doorsteps.
To help take his bright idea even further, we’ve given him a new MINI Electric for 2021.“I’m so grateful for the incredible support behind the project,” Nico says. “The MINI Electric is even more exciting to drive and means all my trips on the tour are environmentally friendly.”
