Sophisticated, high-precision regulating and suspension systems combine with performance disc brakes to eliminate dangerous situations before they arise. And there's almost a whole alphabet of standard safety features, including Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Cornering Brake Control (CBC), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) with Brake Assist and RSC Tyres, to name but a few.
And there's a first among front-wheel drives: Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) with sub-functions Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) and Electronic Differential Lock Control (EDLC) as standard. All three functions help to ensure ideal traction during cornering, with the balance of comfort, active safety and sportiness altering according to which settings are activated.
And even if collisions occur, the wealth of safety features – including six airbags as standard, excellent torsional stiffness, side impact protection, crumple zones and pedestrian-friendly bumpers – guarantee optimum protection all-round.
Last, but certainly not least, the ISOFIX child seat attachments are a standard feature, enabling two ISOFIX-compliant child seats to be attached easily and securely to the rear seats.
